ouch i need a thimble
this will be play by play or idea by idea, i am sewing paper right now to make a table cloth out of expensive rag paper from germany. My german fiance says germans have no sense of humor. she does but is also 1/4th french.
I am dutch and Native American and I like to laugh. (edit- to be honest i don't think ethnicity has anything to do with the sense of humor, but more the environment people are raised in and how they are brought up)
ok time to sew again.
I got a thimble
icannot getit to work very well.
i have it sitting there on the side while I sow.
I hate how thin the string is.

I am going to join a POETRY WEBRING

On my left hand the thimble works best on my middle finger, on myt right it works best on the RING finger, on my right it is the middle finger.
never mind it is the middle finger on both hands
I have t o go ask my fiance how to close off a stitch.
aha, she taught me that and more as usual.

I am using navy blue string on a matte white surface. the white is a blue tinged shit.e i realized i can sew wiht one hand and dont need to jugle the thimble between the two

my cat is here now and he loves paper
in a different room

I am working an 8 to 430 job. at work idream about making works on paper and conceptualizing conceptual artworks. when I get home i clean, chill, pet my cat, talk to my fiance, and then go to bed to do it all over again. the only thing that is different is that the depression from not making art gets thicker by the day. I have broken a GOOD habit.

I am not writing this to complain to any one, i am mearly writing to figure this issue out on my own and perhaps with the help of people in a similar situation

in the next month I have to get my graduate school folders created, get the old work photographed and figure out my letters of intent.

what is it that i want to do in graduate school. I want the experience of an artistically intense 2-3 years where I will grow as an artist and as a human being. I want my work to change and mature, I want to learn where creativity comes from, I want that feeling of creating a unique idea back into my daily routine.

I want to make people think, upset people, have them tell me what I do is NOT art. I want to push my own envelope (however that saying makes sense, that is what I want to do).
